Programming the Speed Controller

a) Programming of Neutral and Full Throttle Positions

When the speed controller does not react to the transmitter,
set the trim controller for the driving function correctly.
If this does not help any, reprogramme the neutral and full
throttle positions for forward and reverse driving.
• Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the wheels can turn freely.
• Switch on the transmitter, but leave the throttle/brake in the neutral position. Put the trimming for driving into the
centre position.
• Keep the setup button (B) down and switch the speed controller on with the on/off switch (A); switch position „ON",
see figure on top. Keep the setup button (B) pushed until the orange LED flashes quickly and the motor emits fast
sound signals (they are generated by the brief control of the motor by the speed controller). Then release the setup
button (B) again.
• Release the throttle/brake lever and do not move it.
Briefly press the setup button.(B). The motor emits a beep and the orange LED flashes 1x. The neutral position is
now saved.
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for forward driving (pull the throttle all the way towards the handle) and
keep it there.
• Briefly press the setup button.(B). The motor emits two beeps and the orange LED flashes 2x. The full throttle
position for forward driving is stored.
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for reverse driving (push the throttle away from the handle all the way)
and keep it there.
• Briefly press the setup button (B). The motor emits three beeps and the orange LED flashes 3x. The full throttle
position for reverse driving is stored.
• Switch the speed controller off; the programming is complete and stored now.
• If you switch on the speed controller again now, the speed controller is ready for operation with the settings made
above.

b) Programming the Special Functions

The speed controller is pre-programmed by the manufacturer with the settings best for the vehicle (e.g. motor timing,
start mode, etc.). This programming can be changed with a programming card available as an accessory.
The programming card is not part of the delivery. It must be ordered separately. All special functions and their
programming are described in the operating instructions for the programming card.
