• If the model tends to turn around the yaw axis
(rotor shaft) in one direction all the time with-
out any control command, reduce the speed
and land the model.
• Then, take a suitable screwdriver and readjust
the basic speed of the tail rotor.
There is an adjustable regulator (2) on the re-
ceiver/control unit (1) for that.
For a better overview, the canopy of the helicopter was removed for the Figures 10, 11 and
12. Since the model needs the canopy for keeping the centre of gravity, you should never
fly without the canopy.
• When turning the regulator to the left, the speed of the tail rotor is increased and the helicopter
turns in clockwise direction (see Figure 11).
• When turning the regulator to the right, the speed of the tail rotor is reduced and the helicopter
turns in anticlockwise direction (see Figure 12).
• Now, make the necessary setting for the tail rotor speed in small steps until the tail of the helicop-
ter does not tend to turn anymore when hovering.
