2. Prescribed use

The RC electric helicopter "Yellow Bird" is solely designed for private use in the field of model con-
struction and the operating times associated with it. The system is not suitable for any other use.
Any use other than the one described above damages the product. Moreover, this involves dangers
such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
The remote control system must not be changed technically or modified! Always observe the safety
instructions!
The product must not get damp or wet.
The product is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions! They contain im-
portant information regarding the handling of the product.


3. Product description

The prototypical helicopter model is an RtF (Ready to Fly) model used outdoors. Due to the simple
design and the easy-to-handle control, it is ideal for the uncomplicated entry into the world of remote-
controlled helicopter models.
The control is effected via two channels. The first channel controls the speed of the main rotor and
thus the flying altitude. The second channel influences the speed of the tail rotor and thus controls the
movement around the yaw axis.
The receiver/control unit installed in the model additionally has an adjustable mix function via which
you can exactly adjust the tail of the helicopter for a stable flight.
The power supply for the model is via the 7.2 V NiMH rechargeable battery included in the delivery.
For operating the transmitter, there are 4 Mignon batteries (e.g. Conrad item no.: 650117) required
additionally.
