Handling of the LiPo rechargeable battery pack
Lithium is a highly reactive chemical element with a high energy density. In the case of overcharging, the LiPo
rechargeable battery packs might burst or even inflame.
Therefore, LiPo rechargeable battery packs always have to be put on a fire-proof ground for charging and the
charging process be supervised.
If a rechargeable battery pack is deformed or damaged, it must not be used any longer. The rechargeable battery
pack has to be disposed of according to regulations.
Furthermore, the general danger warnings for the handling of rechargeable battery packs and batteries also apply
for LiPo rechargeable battery packs.
d) How to take off the cabin and the fuselage
How to take off the cabin
The cabin is screwed to the chassis on the right and
left side of the fuselage.
•
Undo the screws and carefully pull off the cabin,
doing so to the front. The white LED on the cabin
(navigation light) may remain connected to the avi-
onics via the cable.
How to take off the fuselage
• Undo the screws on the right- and left-hand sides at
the rear of the fuselage.
• Then pull the plug out of the electronics module, via which the three LEDs (navigation lights) on the tail boom and
on the cabin are supplied with voltage.
• Pull the fuselage apart on the right and left in front of the swash plate and push it to the rear off the chassis.
How to assemble
To assemble it, first the navigation lights have to be reconnected with the electronics module, and the
fuselage screwed back onto the chassis. Observe when connecting always the correct polarity of the con-
necting cable. Then push the cabin on, which at the same time fixes the split fuselage in position in front
of the swash plate.
