As the plug-in power supply unit as well as the charge adaptor/balancer and the battery pack heat up during the
charging procedure, it is necessary to ensure sufficient ventilation. Never cover the plug-in power supply unit, the
charge adaptor/balancer or the battery pack!
•
The plug-in power supply unit, the charge adaptor/balancer and the battery pack must not get damp or wet. There
is danger to life through an electric shock; furthermore, there is danger of fire and explosion through the battery
pack.
•
Charge the battery pack in a dry, closed indoor location only. Do not expose the plug-in power supply unit, the
charge adaptor/balancer and the battery pack to high/low temperatures nor to direct solar radiation.
•
The operation of the transmitter is also possible with rechargeable batteries instead of batteries.
•
However, the low voltage (batteries=1.5 V, rechargeable batteries=1. V) and the lower capacity of rechargeable
batteries do lead to a decrease of the operating time. However, normally this does not matter, since the operating
time of the transmitter is far beyond that of the helicopter.
•
When using rechargeable batteries there can be a decrease in range.
•
If you use batteries in the remote control, we recommend the use of high-quality alkaline batteries.
•
If batteries are used for the power supply of the transmitter, make sure that there is a sufficient rest capacity (bat-
tery checker). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set (never individual cells!).Always replace
the entire set of batteries in the remote control transmitter. Use only the batteries / rechargeable batteries of the
same type and manufacturer.
•
Never try to charge dry batteries.
•
This can lead to leakage and explosion in the worst case.
•
Batteries (1.5V) are meant to be used once only and must be disposed of when empty.
•
If the device is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. storage), remove the inserted batteries (or rechargeable
batteries) from the remote control to avoid damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries.
•
Never mix rechargeable batteries with dry batteries.
•
Never mix full batteries with half discharged or rechargeable batteries having different capacities.
•
Otherwise the weaker batteries / rechargeable batteries having less capacity might be completely discharged.
•
Recharge the rechargeable batteries about every 3 months, as otherwise there may be a total discharge due to
self-discharge, which makes the rechargeable batteries useless.
