8. Getting started with the transmitter
Always tighten the transmitter antenna properly!
a) Placing batteries or rechargeable batteries in the transmitter
For the power supply, you will need 8 alkaline batteries, size mignon (AA). On ecological and economical grounds,
the use of rechargeable batteries is recommended. These can be charged directly in the transmitter using a built-in
charging socket.
The battery compartment lid is on the rear side of the transmitter (1).

Push the lid downwards.

Place the 8 batteries or rechargeable batteries in the battery compartment (). Pay attention to the correct polarity
of the cells. A corresponding indication is given at the bottom on the battery compartment.

Then, slide on the lid of the battery compartment and let the locking mechanism into place.
b) Charging rechargeable batteries in the transmitter
When using the remote transmitter with accumulators, you can attach a charging cable to the charging jack (1 in Fig.
3) while the transmitter is switched off to charge the accumulators with a suitable charger (not part of the delivery)
directly in the transmitter.
The plug-in power supply unit contained in the delivery is however NOT suitable. It has a different
output voltage. If you connect the plug-in power supply unit contained in the delivery, the trans-
mitter will be damaged.
The guarantee will expire in this case.
Furthermore, there is danger of explosion through the rechargeable batteries.
