For photo-technical reasons, the charging cable of the plug-in mains unit is illustrated in the
wound-up state. Before the first use, the cable retainer should be opened and the cable be unw-
ound.
Warning!
The LiPo charger is either designed for 2-cell LiPo accumulators with 7.4 V and a narrow lug
(part of the delivery) or for 3-cell LiPo accumulators with 11.1 V and a broad plug (not part of the
delivery).
Never connect two accumulators to the charger at the same time!
Cool off the rechargeable battery completely before charging it. When you have just ended the flight, the rechargeab-
le battery is still hot. Wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow the rechargeable batteries to cool off. It is only afterwards
that the rechargeable batteries may be charged.
After you have connected the power pack to a mains outlet (30V~), two of the three charge control LEDs light up
red (see ill 4, pos. 6) and indicate the charge process. The third LED lights up green with a dual-cell accumulator
and red with a triple-cell accumulator.
Once all three LEDs are green, the charge process is finished and the accumulator may be separated from the Life
charger. Unplug the plug-in power pack out of the mains socket.
Attention!
Always connect one battery pack only to the charge adaptor/balancer. Charging simultaneously
a 2 cell and a 3 cell battery pack is strictly forbidden! Danger of fire and explosion!
Place the LiPo battery pack during the charging procedure on a fire-proof support.
Only charge the flight battery included in the delivery or an original spare flight battery with the
charge adaptor/balancer. When charging different rechargeable batteries there is a risk of fire and
explosion!
Never charge rechargeable batteries unsupervised!
Take note of the further informations relevant to the handling of rechargeable batteries.
If the flight battery is empty, wait before flying again until the drive and the electronics of the
helicopter cool off. Otherwise, the drive and the electronics can be damaged due to overheating.
Wait for at least 10 minutes before running the next flight.
Do not leave the rechargeable battery connected to the helicopter if the latter is not used (e.g.
during transport or storage). Otherwise, the battery pack can be fully discharged and thus dest-
royed/unusable!
The plug-in power supply unit and the charge adaptor/balancer must be used in closed, dry in-
door locations only. The plug-in power supply unit as well as the charge adaptor/ balancer and
the rechargeable battery must not get damp or wet. Danger of a lifethreatening electric shock!
Observe all safety instructions and information relevant to operation contained in these operating
instructions!
