e) Batteries
Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.
Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk of batteries being swallowed by
children or pets. In such a case, seek instant medical care!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be shortcircuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. There is danger of
explosion!
Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries might cause acid burns when getting into contact with skin.
Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
Charge only rechargeable batteries; use appropriate battery chargers.
The delivered charger, which includes the plug-in power supply unit and charge adapter / balancer, should only
be used for charging the LiPo flight battery.
Do not use the plug-in power supply unit to charge the transmitter batteries (in the transmitter)!
Only a 30V~/50Hz mains socket of the public mains supply must be used as the source of electric power for the
plug-in charger. Never try to operate the device at a different voltage.
Never leave the charger unattended during the charging process!
Never charge the flight battery included in the delivery immediately after use. Always leave the rechargeable
battery cool off first (at least 10-15 minutes).
Only charge an intact and undamaged rechargeable battery. If the external insulation of the rechargeable battery
is damaged or if the rechargeable battery is warped or bloated, it must not be charged. In this case there is serious
danger of fire and explosion!
Never damage the envelop of the LiPo/LiIon battery pack, do not tear the foil cover, do not prick into the rechar-
geable battery with sharp objects. Danger of fire and explosion!
Remove the rechargeable battery that is to be charged from the model and place it on a fire-proof support. Ob-
serve a distance to flammable objects.
After the flight, the battery pack must be disconnected from the helicopter. Do not leave the rechargeable battery
connected to the helicopter if the latter is not used (e.g. during transport or storage). Otherwise, the battery pack
can be fully discharged and thus destroyed/ unusable!
Disconnect the battery pack from the charger when the battery pack is fully charged.
Ensure that the battery does not get overcharged!
Discharge the flight battery if it is not going to be used for a long time and charge it only before the next use.
Observe the correct polarity when connecting the plug-in power supply unit, charge adapter / balancer and battery
pack as well as while inserting the batteries (plus/+ and minus/-). A wrong polarity involves danger of fire and
explosion!
