11. Fine tuning of the model helicopter
Setting the steering mechanism
• The top rotor is controlled via the paddle rod with
govenor weights.
• The bottom rotor blades are controlled via two se-
parate servo engines.
• The left servo engine (seen in flight direction, 1) is
in charge of the roll function.
• The right servo engine (seen in flight direction, ) is
in charge of the nod function.
• If the helicopter shows a strong trend to fly to a
certain direction and if the trimming function on the
transmitter is not sufficient for a correction, you can
influence the flight behaviour of the helicopter by
changing the installation points on the control disks
to make it fly in the right direction.
• The trimming lever on the transmitter should be in central position in this case.
12. Restore the link between the transmitter and receiver
The transmitter and receiver are already correctly preset at the factory. It is normally not necessa-
ry to restore the link. Only after changing the receiver or transmitter or to correct an error might
it be necessary to carry out this procedure.
To restore the link between the transmitter and receiver, proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the flight battery from the helicopter.
•
Switch the transmitter off.
