7. Programming of the "AW50"
a) General
• Whenever a key is pressed, the green ("Status") LED lights up.
• If no key is pressed for longer than 10 seconds during the programming, the system automatically
reverts to normal mode. The changes made so far are not saved.
This does not apply to voice recording; changes are automatically saved in this case.
• The programming mode can be ended at any time by pressing the "Prg" key.
• Inform all persons, whose telephone numbers you program into the alarm dialler; about this
measure and the measures to be implemented in the event of an alarm call.
Never enter one of the usual emergency telephone numbers into the alarm dialler. This
can have legal consequences. Also bear in mind that unnecessary and senseless use
of rescue services can become very costly.
It is advisable, for example, to use the telephone number of one or more neighbours who
can easily check if there is really a fire.
Furthermore, telephone numbers of private mobile telephone or the telephone number of
relatives can be programmed.
If you live in a big house with its own caretaker or a separate house administration, please
inquire if their telephone number may also be entered.
Never forget to inform the concerned persons. This holds not only for the later operation
of the alarm dialler, but even at the operation check at start-up, if the alarm dialler dials
the entered telephone numbers.
