1. Intended use

The smoke detector system comprises the "AW50" alarm dialler and the "RM50" smoke detector
• The "RM50" radio smoke detector traces the generation of smoke in internal area (smouldering
fires and open fires with generation of smoke). For a certain smoke concentration and beyond, the
smoke detector activates the internal audible and optical signal transmitter.
It simultaneously transmits the smoke alarm to the "AW50" alarm dialler.
The radio smoke detection system can have up to 16 "AW50" radio smoke detectors.
• The "AW50" alarm dialler connected between an analog fixed network telephone and an analog
telephone connection (analog public access connection or telephone).
When the "RM50" radio smoke detector generates alarm, the alarm dialler dials up to 3 telephone
numbers which can be programmed in advance and plays previously recorded message.
In this way an alarm is generated on generation of smoke even when nobody is present at home.
No part of the product may be modified or converted. Doing so will not only make any claim to warranty
but even the license (CE) null and void.
Use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such
as short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc.
