7. Function Description
a) Available Functions
The "FS20 UTS" has the following functions:
• Determination of temperature via a separate temperature sensor and sending of switching
commands in accordance with pre-programmed criteria
• Entry into the coding and addressing system of the FS20 system, this makes it possible to
create a clear separation from neighbouring operating systems as it does to control several
specified receivers
• 2 switching channels with separately programmable criteria:
- Threshold temperatures and switching directions (heat/cool) can be programmed
- Activation period adjustable between 0.25 seconds and 4.25 seconds
- Switching characteristics of the receiver can be selected (transmit command)
- Signal interval can be programmed
- Timer programming of the receiver (1 second to 4.5 hours) possible
- Manual switching of the receiver with control buttons in the "FS20 UTS"
b) Factory Settings
The "FS20 UTS" can be used immediately as delivered with the following functions:
• Temperature threshold: both channels send a switching command when the temperature
drops below +5°C.
• Activation period of the receiver is 256 seconds after activation by the temperature
threshold, then the load is switched off (Signal command 34: "On at old dim setting for the
activation period"
If the measured temperature remains below +5°C during the activation period, then a new
signal will be sent every 120 seconds, this restarts the activation period of 256 seconds once
again (signal interval).
House code: random
Addressing: Channel 1: 1111; channel 2: 1112
The terms printed in bold type here are the setting criteria, the respective
programming of which is described in detail in the following operating manual.
