9. Initial Operation

The "FS20 UTS" can be used immediately as delivered with the factory settings described in
Chapter 7. b). Its transmitter signals are encoded with a randomly set house code (set when
power is attached) and the address group 11 (several receivers can be controlled with a single
transmitter).

If you wish to carry out your own settings/programming, please read the
following chapter.
To commence operation of the radio connection to the receiver, the house code and the
address must be transmitted to the receiver.
• Put the respective receiver into address programming mode in accordance with its operating
instructions.
• Press the button "2" (for channel 2: button "4") on the "FS20 UTS" button pad.
• The control light LED on the receiver goes off.
• Test the switching function by briefly pressing the buttons "1" or "2" (channel 2: button "3"
or "4") on the "FS20 UTS". The receiver must switch on and off when you do so.
Press button "1": Deactivate channel 1
Press button "2": Activate channel 1
Press button "3": Deactivate channel 2
Press button "4": Activate channel 2
• Please note the information regarding the sleep mode in Chapter 13.

The "FS20 UTS" is now ready for operation with the factory settings.
