g) Setting Activation Period

The activation period sent to the controlled FS20 receiver components can be adjusted
between 0.25 seconds and 4.25 hours (255 minutes).

Please note:
In order for the device to remain switched on continuously when the threshold temperature is
exceeded, an activation period must be selected which is longer than the signal interval.
For example, you can activate a heating fan for 128 seconds or longer if the signal interval is
set to 120 seconds. This guarantees that the heating fan remains activated for as long as the
threshold temperature is not reached. The activation period (up to 4.25 hours = 255 minutes)
allows the implementation of a custom after-run time in this case. Nonetheless, users will
predominantly select longer activation periods in this case as frequent repeated switching of
heating or cooling devices tends to be inefficient.
The programmability of the activation period is also advantageous if the transmitter should fail
(e.g. empty batteries), as the switched device will not remain endlessly activated.
If the receiver is simultaneously controlled by a timer operated remote control, the receiver
timer is also directly programmable, see Chapter 10. j).
