12. Energy Saving Mode

Attention important!
In normal operation the device's microprocessor is in an energy saving mode
when between activities such as temperature measurement or sending signals,
this is in order to save battery capacity.
In this mode the device does not react to all button operations (e.g. manual
switching of both channels).
Pressing button "3" switches to the active mode (LED "D1" is lit), without sending
a switching command.
Only then can all buttons be normally pressed and operated.
In the programming mode the device remains active, otherwise the energy
saving mode is entered approximately 5 seconds after the last press of a button
(LED "D1" out).

13. Handling

Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Because of the way it is constructed, the "FS20 UTS" can be operated outdoors if the housing
and the cable insertion hole are fully and correctly sealed.
The cable holes are to be sealed with silicon putty for this purpose.
Generally the "FS20 UTS" is installed once and remains permanently mounted at the same
location. Check the fitness of the product occasionally correspondingly to the mounting
location.
