Initial operation
• With the controls EFX (2), set the share of the respective channel signal that is sent to the inte-
grated digital effect device.
• With the control EFFECTS LEVEL (5), set the intensity of the digital effect (share of the effect sig-
nal in the total signal).
• With the control EFFECTS REPEAT (6), set the echo strength of the digital effect.
• With the control EFFECTS DELAY (7), set the echo delay of the digital effect.
• To turn off the power mixer, first turn the controls MAIN (13) and TAPE (14) counter-clockwise
to the minimal position.
• Then switch the power mixer off with the switch POWER (15) and afterwards the connected
devices.
If you don't follow the instructions step-by-step clicking sounds may result that could damage
the loudspeakers.

Handling

• Never plug the mains plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from
a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that forms could cause irreparable damage to
the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. Wait until
any condensation present has evaporated.
• Never disconnect mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull out the
mains plug by gripping it on the surfaces provided for this purpose.
• Always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket if the appliance is not to be used for
longer periods of time.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during thunder-
storms.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for longer periods of time. This could damage your hea-
ring.

Maintenance

Periodically check the technical safety of the power mixer, e.g. check for damage to the power
cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it imme-
diately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Disconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• there is visible damage to the device or to the power line,
• the device no longer works
• it has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
• the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain.
