Explanation of symbols

This symbol on the device indicates that the user must read these operating instruc-
tions prior to using the product.
The lightening symbol in a triangle warns you against unprotected live components or
elements inside the housing or „live" connection points. Coming into contact with these
components or connection points may be fatal.
Cables connected to such connection points may only be connected by an expert or
you have to use ready to connect cables.
The device contains no parts that should be serviced by the user. Therefore, never
open the device.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the device.
The exclamation mark indicates important notes in these operating instructions that
should always be observed.

Safety instructions

The warranty will be rendered null and void in the event of damage due to failure to
comply with these operating instructions. We shall not be liable for any consequential
damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be
rendered null and void in such cases.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the pro-
duct are not permitted.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this power mixer must be
trained and qualified correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
• The device is designed according to protection class I. As source of voltage for the power mixer
only an approved mains socket (120V~/60Hz or. 230V~/50Hz) connected to the public power
supply net may be used.
• Make sure the device is put into operation correctly. Please follow the operating instructions
carefully in doing so.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by
sharp edges.
• If the power line is damaged, do not touch it. First of all, cut off the power supply to the relevant
mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains
socket. Separate the mains cable from the device. Never use the product if the power line is
damaged.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children do not under-
stand how dangerous electrical devices can be.
• Never pour liquids above electrical appliances and never leave objects filled with liquids (e.g.
vases) on them. There is a very high risk of fire or of a fatal electric shock. In such a case, cut
off the power supply to the mains socket (e.g. by using the circuit breaker) and pull the mains
plug out of the mains socket. Remove all cables from the device. The product must not be ope-
rated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
