Safety instructions
• Never connect or disconnect power plugs with your hands wet.
• Make sure that the device is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. Do not cover the ventilation
openings with magazines, blankets, curtains or similar. Keep a minimum distance of approx.
15 cm to other devices.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibration or
heavy mechanical loads.
• Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles alongside the appliance.
• Consult qualified staff, if you have doubts about how the equipment operates or about how to
connect it safely.
• Never operate the device unsupervised.
• Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, and avoid a tropical environment.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for children to play
with.
• You should also heed the additional safety instructions in each chapter of this instruction.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are connected to
this device.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insu-
rance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
• If you are not sure how to connect the device correctly or if questions arise which are not covered
by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support or a specia-

Setup

Ensure proper ventilation is provided when setting up the device.
Do not place the product on soft surfaces, e.g. a carpet or a bed.
In addition, the air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines,
table cloths, curtains etc. This prevents the heat from escaping from the device and
can lead to overheating (fire hazard).
Do not drill any holes or screws into the housing in order to attach the appliance
somewhere, this will damage it and even impair its safety.
When installing, make sure that the device is firmly in place and on a stable base. There
is risk of persons being injured if the power mixer fell over.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched
or damaged by any sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. Risk
of injury.
Keep the mixer out of direct, intensive sunlight and away from vibrations, dust, heat,
cold and moisture.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as, e.g.
transformers, motors, cordless telephones, radio controlled devices etc. in the vicini-
ty of the power mixer as these can influence it.
Never place the device on valuable or delicate furniture surfaces without providing suffi-
cient protection.
