f) Air Filter
The air filter prevents dirt from getting into the engine with the intake air. Foreign bodies that get between cylinder liner and piston will cause the piston to catch
or stick, which may destroy the engine and cause subsequent damage in the drive train.
• The air filter also must be cleaned and re-oiled regularly.
• Clean the air filter with petroleum or low viscosity machine oil (air filter oil, accessories).
• Oil the air filter afterwards with air filter oil.
• Never drive without an air filter!
• Fasten the air filter to the carburettor with a thin cable tie so that it cannot slip off and be lost when driving.
• The air filter insert is a wear part and must be examined for defects (holes, etc.) regularly and be replaced when required.


10. Disposal

a) Product

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is
prohibited!
 Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with adjacent symbol to indicate that disposal in the household
waste is prohibited. The descriptions for the respective heavy metal are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the names are indicated on the
battery/rechargeable battery e.g. below the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You may return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/
rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

