• Selecting the desired function: Turn the con-
trol knob 9 in a clockwise direction until the
desired function appears on the display.

Setting the cooking time

In order to use the appliance in one of the power
levels or functions, you must first set the desired
cooking time.
The cooking time can be set with steps of dif-
ferent lengths. The following table provides you
with an overview:
Cooking time Step
0 – 5 minutes 10 seconds
5 – 10 minutes 30 seconds
10 – 30 minutes 1 minute
30 – 95 minutes 5 minutes
The maximum cooking time you can set is 95: 0 0
minutes.
• Turn the function controller 10 in a clockwise
direction until the desired cooking time ap-
pears on the display.

Starting the cooking process
1. Use the control knob 9 to select the desired
performance level or function.
2. Select the desired cooking time 10 using the
function controller.
3. Press the function controller 10.
The cooking process will start.

• To interrupt the cooking process button press
12 "Stop/Delete".

Resuming the interrupted cooking

• To continue an interrupted cooking process
press the function controller10 once again.

Aborting the cooking process

To abort a cooking process,
• Press the 12 "Stop/Delete" button twice
Cooking with the grill

The grill 16 is located on the cooking chamber
ceiling. It is used to quickly brown dishes and
cook them au gratin. Use the grill for the fol-
lowing:
– steaks
– chops
– sausages
or to brown sandwiches or gratins.
1. Turn the control knob 9 to the "Grill" posi-
tion.
The display ": " will appear on the display.
2. Select the 10 desired cooking time using the
function controller.
3. Press the function controller 10.
The cooking process will start.
Cooking with the multi-
function modes
In the microwave and grill multi-function mode,
you can cook food quickly and produce a nice
crust at the same time. The microwave oven
function is "responsible" for cooking food
through and the grill function is responsible for
the crust.
