Our contribution to
environmental protection
Using energy in a responsible way means
saving money on the household budget and
awareness of the environment. Each kilowatt
hour saved contributes to saving our climate.
Therefore:
– Use the microwave oven instead of the
oven.
– The microwave is more efficient, particularly
when heating liquids and with foods with a
high water content.
– Use the correct dishware.
– Dishware and accessories which are suit-
able for microwave ovens barely absorb
energy (see section "Suitable dishware" on
page 13).
– Adhere to the standing time.
After cooking or defrosting the dishes, allow
them to stand. This means that the heat
will distribute evenly within the food and will
therefore continue to cook.
Packaging tips
Our packaging is manufactured using envi-
ronmentallyfriendly, reusable materials: exteri-
or packaging made from cardboard, moulded
parts made from foamed, CFC-free polystyrene
(PS), films and polyethylene (PE) bags and ten-
sioning straps made from polypropylene (PP).
If you have sufficient space, we recommend
keeping the packaging, at least during the war-
ranty period. If the microwave oven needs to be
sent away for repairs, it will only be sufficiently
protected if sent in the original packaging.
If you would like to dispose of the packaging,
please dispose of it in an environmentally friend-
ly way.
