• If you discover that the container
is becoming hotter than the food it-
self, then this container is not suit-
able for microwave cooking. Do not
use such containers.
• Use only a special microwave ther-
mometer. Normal liquid thermome-
ters are not suitable.
• Do not operate the microwave with
an external timer or separate re-
mote operation system.
• Only place the microwave on an
even subsurface. Do not place the
microwave on or next to heat-emit-
ting devices such as ovens, for ex-
ample.
• Do not cover the feet of the micro-
wave. The surface on which the mi-
crowave is standing may become
scratched.
If the device is insufficiently clean,
this can destroy the surfaces thus
influencing the service life, and can
potentially lead to hazardous situa-
tions.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive
cleaning or scouring products and
do not use any steel sponges or
scouring sponges! Do not use oven
spray! Never spray cleaning prod-
ucts into the microwave!

• Do not use metal scrapers to clean
the viewing window. The glass
surface could become scratched
or the window could shatter.
• Ensure that no water or cleaning
fluids penetrate the microwave
through the ventilation slits.
• Do not use a steam cleaner or
high-pressure cleaner. Steam
could get into live components
through cracks.
