Using the microwave oven
Signal tones
If you use your microwave oven, you will hear
signal tones for every action:
– each time you move a control knob or press
a button, you will hear a signal tone.
– If you wish to make an adjustment which is
not possible (e.g. if you have selected from
one of the automatic programmes and wish
to connect the control knob 9 to "Grill"), 2
signal tones will sound.
– If you use one of the automatic pro-
grammes, which combine the microwave
oven and grill you will be asked after ap-
proximately 2/3rds of the cooking time to
turn the food which is cooking. This will take
place with 3 signal tones.
– At the end of the cooking process, 4 signal
tones will sound.
Setting the clock time
When the microwave is connected to the power
supply, you will hear a signal tone and 1: 0 0 will
be displayed. In order to use the microwave with
all of the functions, first you must set the time.
1. Press 11 "Time".
KR24 will appear on the display.
2. If necessary switch between Kr24 (24-hour
display) and Kr12 (12-hour display). Press
the 11"Time" button once again to do this.
3. Set the time using the function controller 10.
4. Press the 11 "Time" button once again.
: 0 0 will appear on the display.
5. Set the minutes using the function controller
10.
6. Press the 11 "Time" button once again. The
time is now set up; the set time will appear
on the display.
Please note!
You must manually enter the time changes
that occur when switching to and from daylight
saving hours at the end of March and back
again in October.
Using the microwave oven
Fast cooking
WARNING
Microwave hazard!
Microwave radiation can escape
through a door that fails to close ad-
equately. The microwave must not
be used in such a case.
• Do not operate the microwave
oven if the door is warped or dam-
aged, or if the door latch, hinges,
or door seals are defective, or if
the door does not close tightly for
any other reason. Appropriate re-
pairs may only be carried out by
a person specially trained for this
purpose.
WARNING
Risk of fire!
Improper handling of the microwave
may result in damage or cause a
fire.
• In case of a fire or smoke in the
cooking chamber: Do not open
the door! Switch off the micro-
wave, pull out the mains plug or
isolate the fuse in your fuse box or
switch off the appliance.
