Information
5 minutes for your safety
user maintenance may not be per-
formed by children unless they are
at least eight years old and under
supervision.
• Do not allow children to play with
the packaging wrapper. They can
become caught up in it when play-
ing and suffocate.
• Supervise children to make sure
that they do not play with the mi-
crowave oven.
• Make sure children do not have
unsupervised access to the micro-
wave oven.
• Keep children away from the glass
door! This can get very hot during
operation – risk of burns!
• Children aged eight years or young-
er should be kept away from the
microwave oven, the mains cable
and the mains plug. Ensure that
the mains cable is inaccessible to
children.
Microwave hazard!
Microwave radiation can escape
through a door that fails to close ad-
equately. The microwave must not
be used in such a case.
• Pay particular attention to the
cleanliness of the door seals and
the door sealing surfaces with all
adjacent parts.
• Do not operate the microwave oven
if the door is warped or damaged,
or if the door latch, hinges, or door
seals are defective, or if the door
does not close tightly for any oth-
er reason. Appropriate repairs may
only be carried out by a person
specially trained for this purpose.
GB-6
• It is dangerous for anyone except
a specially trained individual to
perform any maintenance or repair
work that requires the removal of
a cover that protects against expo-
sure to microwave radiation.
Risk of fire!
Improper handling of the microwave
may result in damage or cause a fire.
Heat trapped inside the microwave
oven may shorten its service life.
• Make sure there is adequate ven-
tilation. Do not cover the air vents,
e.g. with dishcloths or cookbooks.
• When setting up the microwave
oven, ensure that the minimum
safety distances are maintained
which are specified in the user
manual.
• Do not place the microwave oven
in a cupboard.
• Only use containers made from
heat-resistant materials which
are suitable for microwave ovens.
Baking parchment or similar may
be used for the grill, convection or
multi-function modes.
• Monitor the microwave when heat-
ing up or cooking food in flammable
materials such as plastic or paper
containers. There is a risk of these
igniting.
• Remove all metallic materials from
plastic or paper containers before
placing them in the microwave
oven.
• Do not use any aluminium foil, due
to the fact that this can also cause
sparks when coming into contact
with the cooking chamber walls.
