You will find the following signal words in this
user manual.
WARNING
This signal word designates a haz-
ard with a moderate degree of risk
which may lead to death or severe
injury if not avoided.
CAUTION
This signal word designates haz-
ard with low risk which may result
in minor or moderate injury if not
avoided.
NOTICE
This signal word warns against po-
tential damages to property.

Safety notices

WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or ex-
cessive mains voltage may result in
an electric shock. As the microwave
oven works with mains voltage, which
can be dangerous, touching live parts
may lead to serious injury or death.
• The microwave oven is exclusively
suitable for mains voltage of 230 V
~ 50 Hz.
• Do not operate the microwave
oven if its housing, mains cable or
mains plug is defective or shows
any signs of other visible damage.

• If the mains cable of the microwave
oven is damaged, the manufactur-
er, its customer service team or a
person with similar qualifications
must replace it.
• If the microwave oven produces
smoke, a burnt odour or emits un-
usual noises, immediately switch it
off and pull the mains plug. Do not
operate the microwave oven until
the fault has been repaired.
• The appliance corresponds to pro-
tection class 1 and may only be
connected to a plug with a protec-
tive conductor that has been in-
stalled properly.
• Connecting the device to a socket
strip or multi-plug is not permitted,
and can potentially result in fire.
• Only connect the microwave oven
to an easily accessible socket so
that you can quickly disconnect it
from the mains in case of a fault.
• Electric and mechanical parts,
which are essential for providing
protection against risk sources, are
contained in this microwave oven.
Do not open the housing; instead,
have a qualified professional per-
form the repairs. Only authorised
professionals may perform mod-
ifications and repairs to the mi-
crowave oven. Only parts corre-
sponding to the original appliance
specifications may be used for re-
pairs.
• Never try to repair a defective or
suspected defective appliance
yourself. You can put your own and
future users' lives in danger. Only
authorised specialists are allowed
