Velocity settings

5.4.1 Resolution
Specifying the steps refers to the
set "Measuring Steps [0.001 µm]".
If for example you set 2000 for the
Measuring Steps and steps/10 ms
for velocity resolution, you will get
a velocity resolution of
2000 * 0.001 µm / 10 ms = 0.2 µm/ms
= 0.2 mm/s per LSB.
5.4.2 Switchpoints
These can be set on the acyclic
channel using the respective
parameter number (PNU 2000 –
2003) ➥ ➥ ➥ ➥ ➥ Table 7-10. By using Pa-
rameter 971 these can be stored in
non-volatile memory.
