Alarm messages

The following alarm messages can be displayed alternating with the temperature display:
Alarm display
9999 flashes
V1.00/EN
Cause
Measured value exceeded
The measured value is too high, is out-
side the measuring range or the probe
is broken.
Measured value gone below
The measured value is too low, is out-
side the measuring range or a short-cir-
cuit occurred at the probe.
Remedy

Check the probe and connection line for damage or
short-circuit.
