OPERATION Menu Screen

The OPERATION menu screen can only be set in the manual shooting mode.
The position ("CAM A" or "CAM B") of the MODE switch is indicated after the menu title name.

Set Value
Sets the AE (automatic exposure) function to ON or OFF.
OFF ON : AE function operates.
Gain is set to ALC, shutter to EEI, and iris is set to auto
iris.
OFF : AE function does not operate.
● When ON, "– – –" is displayed for the following IRIS and
SHUTTER items that cannot be set in this condition.
Selects automatic or manual iris adjustment.
MANUAL Enabled when the AE item is OFF.
AUTO
MANUAL : Selects the manual mode.
Selects whether fixed shutter speed (STEP) or variable scanning
VARIABLE rate should be employed for manual shutter speed adjustment.
Enabled when the AE item is OFF.

VARIABLE : For changing the shutter speed at variable
Selects automatic or manual white balance adjustment.
PUSH AUTO AUTO: Selects the auto mode.

OFF Selects whether or not camera-shake compensation should
operate.

ON : Operating.
Selects whether the recording level adjustment of the CH1
MANUAL channel sound is performed automatically or manually.

MANUAL : Selects the manual mode.
Selects whether the recording level adjustment of the CH2
MANUAL channel sound is performed automatically or manually.
AUTO
MANUAL : Selects the manual mode.
The TOP MENU returns when the SELECT dial is pressed.
