Function overview
All adjustments for the SKSCEM1 must be made in the corresponding menu of
the SKSC controller connected!
3.1 Heating circuit (weather-compen-
sated):
A set flow temperature for the heating
circuit is calculated by means of the out
door temperature and the selected heat
ing curve. This set flow temperature can be
additionally changed by means of a remote
control and by the adjustment values "day
correction" and "night correction". If the
measured flow temperature deviates from
the set flow temperature, the mixer is acti
vated in order to adjust the flow tempera
ture correspondingly.
3.2 Timer (week timer)
The timer determines whether day correc
tion or night correction (set back) is used for
changing the set flow temperature. If one
of the time frames set in the timer is "ac
tive", the night correction is used. If no time
frame is "active", the day correction is used
for the set flow temperature. A time frame
is "active" when the current time is between
the switchon and the switchoff time.
3.3 Remote control:
The SKSCRTA11 remote control allows
manual adjustment of the heating curve
(±15 K). With the remote control the heat
ing circuit can also be switched off or a
rapid heating process can be started. The
remote control is optional and it is not in
cluded in the full kit.
3.4 Deactivating the heating circuit:
The heating circuit can be switched off
manually if...
• the remote control is set to "Heating
circuit off".
The heating circuit is switched off auto
matically if...
• the adjusted maximum flow tempera
ture is reached
• the outdoor temperature is higher than
the adjusted summer temperature
• the flow temperature sensor is defective
• the heat circuit is deactivated at the
controller (permanently off)
Heating circuit deactivated means that the
heating circuit pump is switched off and
the mixer closed.
3.5 Heating circuit rapid heating-up:
A rapid heating process of the heating cir
cuit can be achieved by setting the remote
control to the position „rapid heating proc
ess". Rapid heating process means that the
circuit is heated up until the adjusted flow
maximum temperature is reached.
3.6 Set flow temperature:
The set flow temperature is calculated
from the measured outdoor temperature
and the selected heating curve. Onto this,
the correction value of the remote control
and the controller day correction or night
correction are added. Set flow temperature
= heating curve temperature + remote
control + (day correction or night correc
tion). If the calculated set flow tempera
ture is higher than the adjusted maximum
flow temperature, the set flow temperature
will be equated with the maximum flow
temperature.
3.7 Mixer control:
The mixer function controls the mixing
valve position according to the difference
between the current flow temperature and
the set flow temperature. The mixer is
opened or closed in pulses depending on
this deviation. The mixer is activated for
4 seconds (factory setting). The pause is
calculated from the deviation from the set
and actual value.
3.8 DHW priority:
This function switches off the heating cir
cuit when domestic hot water is being af
terheated. Therefore, the option domestic
hot water priority must be activated and
the afterheating by store charge controller,
the afterheating of SKSC or activation of
legionella protection of the respective con
troller must be realised.
