Installation

Electrical connection

WARNING!
Electric shock!
Upon opening the housing, live parts are
exposed!
Î Always disconnect the controller
from power supply before opening
the housing!
ATTENTION!
ESD damage!
Electrostatic discharge can lead to dam­
age to electronic components!
Î Take care to discharge properly
before touching the inside of the
device! To do so, touch a grounded
surface such as a radiator or tap!
Note
Connecting the device to the power sup­
ply must always be the last step of the
installation!
Note:
The electrical connection is to be carried
out according to the corresponding con­
nection plan. The SKSCEM1 must addi­
tionally be supplied from a double pole
switch with contact gap of at least 3 mm.
To achieve that, LS switches or fuses can
be used.
The device is supplied with power via a
mains cable. The power supply must be
100 ... 240 V~ (50 ... 60 Hz).

The device is equipped with five relays to
which loads can be connected with cor­
rect polarity (Rx/N):
17 ... 21 = ground conductor terminal
15 ... 16 = potential­free relay
N, 23 = relay 4
N, 25 = relay 3
N, 27 = relay 2
N, 29 = relay 1
N = neutral conductor
Connect the temperature sensors (S1 to
S6) to the corresponding terminals with
either polarity:
1/2 = sensor 1
3/4 = sensor 2
5/6 = sensor 3
7/8 = sensor 4
11/12 = sensor 6
The RTA11-M remote control can option­
ally be connected to the terminals 9/10.
Connect the controller to the SKSCEM1
via the VBus . Connect the VBus
®
terminals marked VBus with either po­
larity::
13 = VBus terminal

14 = VBus terminal

Connect the mains cable to the follow­
ing terminals:
30 = neutral conductor N
21 = conductor L
17 = ground conductor terminal
