• If a blockage occurs, switch off the product imme-
diately. Wait until the cutting wheel has come to a
standstill. Remove the spark plug connector and
put on cut-resistant gloves to remove the blockage.
If the cutting wheel has to be removed, follow the
instructions as described in the "Fitting" chapter.
After removing the blockage and re-fitting, a test
run must be carried out. If vibrations or mechanical
noises are detected during this process, stop work
and contact an authorised service centre.
• Have the product serviced by qualified personnel.
Only use manufacturer's recommended original
spare parts.
• Start the cut slowly and apply even pressure. Avoid
pressing too hard on the product.
9.2 Safe work
• Keep the product in good working order to prevent
injuries.
• After dropping the product, check for significant
damage or defects.
• Always work with a secure posture.
• Do not work on a ladder - do not work in unstable
locations - do not work above shoulder height - do
not work with only one hand - risk of accident!
• Change your working position regularly. Prolonged
use of the product can lead to vibration-induced
circulatory disorders of the hands. However, you
can extend the duration of use by wearing suitable
gloves or taking regular breaks. Be aware that per-
sonal predisposition to poor circulation, low outside
temperatures or large gripping forces when work-
ing reduce the duration of use.
• Take care in slippery, wet, snowy conditions, on
slopes, on uneven terrain, etc. - risk of slipping!
• Do not work alone - always keep within calling dis-
tance of other people who can provide assistance
in an emergency. Do not allow any other persons
in the work area - keep a sufficient distance from
other persons to protect against noise and ejected
parts. When wearing hearing protection, increased
attentiveness and caution are required - the per-
ception of sounds signalling danger (screams, sig-
nal tones, etc.) is restricted.
• Clean the area of the cut of foreign objects such as
stones, nails, etc. before cutting. Foreign objects
can be ejected and cause injuries.
9.3 Guide rollers (Fig. 11)
Using the guide rollers makes it easier to make
straight and even cuts, for example:
• Repairing road damage
• Cutting expansion joints
If the guide rollers are pushed over objects, the
diamond cutting wheel can tilt in the cut - risk of
breakage!

10. Transport

• Switch off the product during transport and when
changing location during work.
• Never carry or transport the product with the en-
gine or cutting wheel running!
• Carry the product only by the front handle (1). The
cutting wheel must face rearwards. Do not touch
the silencer (25) (risk of burns).
• Use a wheelbarrow or trolley when transporting
over long distances.
• When transporting the product in a vehicle, ensure
that it is securely positioned so that no fuel can leak
out.
• Remove the cutting wheel when transporting in a
vehicle.
