If you notice unusual adverse effects, stop working
immediately and seek medical advice.
• Keep your body and especially your hands warm in
cold weather.
• Take regular breaks and move your hands to pro-
mote circulation.
• Always hold the handle firmly, but do not clench
your hands around the handles with excessive
pressure.
• Limit the use of high-vibration tools per day and
spread them out over several days. Make a work
plan that limits the vibration load.
• Ensure as little vibration as possible of the product
via regular maintenance and stable parts on the
product.
• Replace worn components immediately.

8. Unpacking

• Open the packaging and carefully remove the prod-
uct.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the
packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for trans-
port damage. In the event of complaints the carrier
must be informed immediately. Later claims will not
be recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of
the warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of
the operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and
replacement parts use only original parts. Spare
parts can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number
as well as type and year of manufacture for the
product.

The use of incorrect spare parts and accessories
can lead to injuries and damage. These could come
loose and be flung away. They can also reduce the
power of the product.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories from
the manufacturer. Original spare parts or accesso-
ries can be obtained from your specialist dealer.

• Failure to do so may reduce the power of the prod-
uct and parts may come loose.
• Failure to observe this will invalidate the manufac-
turer's warranty.
Some parts of the delivery come disassembled. For
quick and easy assembly, read and follow the instruc-
tions below.

• 1x open-ended spanner, size 8/10 mm (30)
• 1x open-ended spanner, size 10/13 mm (30a)
• 1x Phillips screwdriver (33)
• 1x torque wrench*
*= may not be included in the scope of delivery!
Place the product on a level, even surface.
9.1 ) L WWLQJWKHEXPSHUEDU) L J
1. Align the mounting holes on the bumper (7) with
the brackets on the front of the product.
2. Fit the bumper (7) using the four hexagonal bolts
(7a) provided. Use an open-ended spanner size
8/10 mm (30).
9.2 ) L WWLQJWKHVWHHULQJURGK) L J
1. Place the sleeve (2f) onto the steering linkage.
2. Insert the steering rod (2h) into the sleeve (2f).
3. Fit the sleeve (2f) and the steering rod (2h) using
the four M8 hexagon bolts (2e) provided. Use an
open-ended spanner size 10/13 mm (30a).
4. Fit the steering column cover (2g) onto the dash-
board by snapping the tabs into place.
9.3 ) L WWLQJWKHVWHHULQJZKHHO) L J
1. Place the steering ring (2b), steering wheel (2) and
washer (2c) onto the steering rod (2h) in that order.
2. Fit the enclosed M12 hexagonal nut (2d) onto the
steering rod (2h). Use a torque wrench and secure
the connection to 24 Nm.
3. Place the steering wheel cover (2a) on the steer-
ing wheel (2).

4. Fit the two Phillips screws (2i) provided from lower
with the steering wheel cover (2a). Use a Phillips
screwdriver (33).

1. Place the speed lever (12) on the mount and se-
cure it with the Phillips screw (12a) and hexagonal
nut (12b) provided. Use a Phillips screwdriver (33).
9.5 ) L WWLQJWKHVXSSRUWUROOHUD) L J
1. Align the support roller (10a) with one of the three
mounting holes on the mowing unit (10).
2. Fit the support roller (10a) to the mowing unit (10)
using the hexagonal bolt (10b) and hexagon nut
(10c) provided.
