Raccordement
L'entrée DJ-MIC correspond au canal 1 et l'entrée MIC2 au canal 4.
Le sélecteur d'entrée (3) correspondant doit alors être en position DJ MIC ou MIC2.
Raccordement des sorties
Sortie AMP (25)
Raccordez une entrée Cinch libre de votre amplificateur principal (par ex. AUX) à la sortie AMP .
Sortie REC (24)
Lorsque vous souhaitez enregistrer le signal de sortie de la table de mixage à l'aide d'un appareil
enregistreur, raccordez l'entrée d'enregistrement de l'appareil sur les douilles RECORD (24) de la
table de mixage.
Sortie BOOTH (26)
La sortie BOOTH peut être utilisée pour le raccordement d'un deuxième amplificateur ou d'une
enceinte de contrôle active.
Raccordez une entrée Cinch libre de l'amplificateur (par ex. AUX) ou l'entrée de l'enceinte de
contrôle active sur la sortie stéréo BOOTH (26).
Prise femelle casque d'écoute HEADPHONES (15)
Raccordez un casque d'écoute à la prise femelle du casque d'écoute à l'aide d'un connecteur jack
de 6,3 mm.
Raccordement de mise à la terre de la platine tourne-disque GND
Si les platines tourne-disques disposent d'un câble de mise à la terre autonome (en général fin, noir
avec cosse de serrage), raccordez-le à la borne de mise à la masse GND (21). Cela permet d'évi-
ter tout bruit de ronflement.
Raccordement à l'alimentation électrique
La table de mixage et tous les autres appareils connectés doivent être mis hors
tension.
Assurez-vous que toutes les liaisons électriques et câbles de liaison entre les appa-
reils et les éventuelles rallonges sont conformes et respectent le mode d'emploi.
Branchez la fiche de secteur de la table de mixage sur une prise de courant de sécurité à contact
de protection de 230 V~/50 Hz.

Initial operation
Do not put the device into operation until your have familiarised yourself with the
functions and these operating instructions. Check again that all connections are cor-
rect.
Switching the mixer on and off
Failure to observe the order described in the following when switching the mixer on
and off could damage the loudspeakers or the amplifier.
Switching on:
•
Make sure that all channel faders (11)are set to minimum volume (channel fader pulled right
back to the lowest point).
•
First switch on the reproduction devices connected to the mixer.
•
Switch the mixer on with the mains switch „POWER" (4). The power indicator lights up.
•
Switch on the connected amplifier(s) and the recording device (connected to the REC socket
(24)). The mixer is now ready for operation.
Switching off:
•
To switch off the mixer, first turn the volume on the mixer and then on the amplifier down to the
minimum setting.
•
Switch off the amplifier.
•
Then switch off the mixer using the mains switch POWER (4) and then the reproduction devices
(record player, CD player etc.).
•
If you do not require the mixer for a longer period, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Selecting an input
Reduce the volume to the minimum setting using the corresponding channel fader
before actuating an input selection switch. The differences in volume between the
respective reproduction sources may otherwise cause sudden excessive volume
when switching between the inputs.
Use the input selection switches (3) to select the desired inputs.
LED level displays
The level display (2) indicates the output level, the level displays (18) indicate the level of the input
signals.
As far as possible, the individual levels should not be allowed to exceed the yellow area
as, otherwise, the music may be distorted. However, it is of no consequence if the red
area flashes for an instant at the peak of the signal.
Setting the fader channel signal
Use the GAIN control knob (5) to adjust the mixer input to the respective output signal of the con-
nected reproduction device.
•
Shift the MASTER fader (12) to the minimum setting (right to the lowest point).
•
Use input selection switches (3) to select the appropriate channel input.
•
Slide the channel fader (11) to position "10".
•
Start the connected reproduction device, e.g. a CD player.
•
You can set the channel signal level using the "GAIN" control knob (5). The signal level can be
read from the level displays for the individual channels (18). It should not exceed the yellow area.
You can use the equaliser knobs (6) to alter the sound of the channel signal.
