Safety instructions

The warranty will be rendered null and void in the event of damage due to failure
to comply with these operating instructions. We shall not be liable for any conse-
quential damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will
lapse in such cases.
For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the
product are not permitted.
The device is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only an approved, earthed mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz) connected to the public supply grid may be used as a source of power.
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this mixer must be
trained and qualified correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a fatal electric shock.
If the power line is damaged, do not touch it. First of all cut off the power supply to the relevant
mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains
socket. Do not operate the device any more. Take it to a specialist workshop.
When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.
This device is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children do not under-
stand how dangerous electrical devices can be.
Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, into the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids could seep into the interior of the housing
and in doing so impair the electrical safety. Apart from that, there is a great risk of a fire or a
fatal electric shock. In such a case, cut off the power supply to the relevant mains socket (e.g.
via the circuit breaker) and pull the mains plug out of the mains socket. Remove all cables from
the device. The product may not be operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibration or
heavy mechanical loads.
Do not place open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or right next to the device.
Consult suitably qualified staff if you have doubts about how the equipment operates or about
how to connect it safely.
Never leave the device on without supervision.
Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for children to play
with.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are connected to
this device.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insur-
ance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
