12. Maintenance
Only carry out modifications, setting, measuring
and cleaning work when the engine is switched
off. Pull out the mains plug and wait for the rotat-
ing tool to stop.
All protective and safety equipment must be reas-
sembled immediately after repair, maintenance is
completed.
The built-in ball bearings are maintenance-free.
General maintenance tasks
Wipe swarf and dust off the machine from time to time
with a cloth. Oil the rotating parts once monthly to ex-
tend the life of the tool. Do not oil the motor.
Do not use corrosive agents for cleaning the plastic.
Our recommendation to you:
1.
Lightly grease the swivel segments of the table
and the belt tensioning device.
2.
Clean the saw band regularly. Wood leaves resin
residues. For cleaning, we recommend the res-
in removal concentrate Pharmol HEK, item no.
61009700.
3.
Check the guide rollers and the counterpres-
sure bearings regularly. If necessary, readjust or
dismantle and oil or replace.
4.
Replace table inlays that are worn out.
5.
Always keep the tabletop free of resin.
6.
Lightly oil the bearings of the handwheel regularly.
7.
In the course of time, the rubber wrapping on the
blade wheels cracks and gets worn due to the met-
al saw band. This prevents the saw blade from op-
erating precisely. Workplace safety and machine
operation are adversely affected by this. Replace
the band wheels!
Cleaning
Keep protective devices, air vents and the engine
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with com-
pressed air at low pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device directly after
every use.
Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can pene-
trate the device interior.
Water penetrating an electric device increases the risk
of an electric shock.
