• Never operate the device without supervision. In spite of the extensive and varied
protective switching, malfunction or problems can not be ruled out when charging an
accumulator.
• Only operate the device in a moderate climate, never in a tropical climate. For this,
observe also the permissible environment conditions in the section "Technical Data".
• Select a sufficiently stable, sufficiently large and smooth location. If it fell down, there
is the risk of injury through the weight of the product. Apart from this, the device can
be destroyed!
Never place the charging device or accumulator on inflammable surfaces (e.g. carpet).
• Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation during the operating phases. Never cover
the charging device of the connected accumulator.
• Never connect the product to an external power unit immediately after it has been taken
from a cold room to a warm one. The condensation arising can, under certain
circumstances, lead to disturbances in the function or to damage; apart from this, there
is risk of an electric shock.
Allow the charging device (and the accumulator(s)) to reach room temperature
before connecting the charging device to the mains voltage and starting up
operation. This may take several hours.
• Servicing, adjustment or repair works may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist
workshop. There are no parts of the product to be adjusted or service by you on the
interior.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to
be observed..
• In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, use of the product
must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. Plastic foil/bags and
polystyrene parts etc. could become dangerous toys for children.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged through impact, blows or by being
dropped even from a low height.
