b) Initial operation
Connect the mains cable of the charging station "RLG 7008" to a correct mains socket (230V~/50Hz)
of the public supply grid.
After switching it on by means of the on/off switch (1), the display lighting is activated and all the
display segments appear for a brief period. The charging station carries out a self-test during this
period..
After this, the charging device is now ready for operation.
First of all set all parameters (nominal voltage, nominal capacity, charging rate) before
you connect an accumulator to the jack (7) and start the charging process.
c) Function of the operating buttons
Operation of the "RLG 7008" is extremely straightforward and clearly conceived . You will find a
detailed description in section 8.
• With the "Eingabe" key, you can switch between entering the nominal voltage, the nominal
capacity and the charging rate (C).
• With the key " " and " ", the figures displayed can be altered (the figure in the LC display begins
to flash).
• For the nominal capacity, the point of the displayed value can be selected with the button " " so
that the setting can be carried out more straightforwardly and quickly.
• Confirm the setting using the "Eingabe" key. The figure displayed in the display will stop flashing
and is then stored. Press the key again to switch on the next parameter.
• If the figures concerning nominal voltages, nominal capacity and charging rate are set for the
accumulator being used, the accumulator can be connected. The charging process is started with
the "start/stop" button.
Press the "Start/Stop" key to terminate the charging process. Then disconnect the accumulator.
