1. Intended Use

The Reflex charging station "RLG 7008" is used exclusively for charging quickly chargeable NiCd
accumulators (Nickel-Cadmium) or NiMH accumulators (nickel-metal-hydride). These accumula-
tors or accumulator packs may consist of 1 to 16 cells switched in series.
Through use of the patented Reflex charging process, charging currents of up to 8A are possible
(depending on the accumulator used or the number of cells and the accumulator capacity).
You find a detailed description of function in section "4. General".
Any other use than that described above can lead to damage to the product and, in
addition, can also involve other risks.
Read through these operating instructions completely and attentively as they contain an
abundance of important information for operation and handling.

3. Explanation of symbols

The symbol with the lightening in the triangle is used when your health is at risk, e.g.
through an electric shock
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information in these operating
instructions which must be observed without fail.
The "hand" symbol can be found when you are to be given tips and information on
operation.
