• Before turning on the grinder, make sure that the sandpaper is
fixed securely, and that the paper clamping levers are in the paper
clamping position.
• Do not touch parts of the grinder that are in motion.
• Do not put the grinder down after shutdown before its moving parts
stop.
• Use a protective mask if dust is generated during sanding. Dust
generated when sanding surfaces painted with lead paint, some
types of wood and metal is harmful.
• Pregnant women and children should not enter a room where paint
containing lead compounds is removed with a grinder.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke in a room where paint containing lead
compounds is removed with a sander.
WHEN USING THE GRINDER
• Always wear ear muffs and a respirator when working with a
grinder.
• The grinder is not suitable for wet work.
• Use goggles or goggles when working with a grinder above the
operator's head.
• When handling the grinder, do not exert excessive pressure on the
grinder, which could cause the grinder to stop.
NOTE: The device is used for indoor operation.
Despite the use of safe design by design, the use of safety
measures and additional protective measures, there is always a
risk of residual injury during operation.
CONSTRUCTION AND PURPOSE
Oscillating grinders are hand-held power tools with class II insulation.
The devices are driven by a single-phase commutator motor. The
orbital sander is designed for sanding and polishing of wooden, metal,
plastic and similar surfaces, using abrasive paper of the appropriate
gradation. Thanks to the use of different shapes of working feet, it
allows work even in hard-to-reach places. Areas of their use are the
execution of repair and construction work, and any work in the field of
independent amateur activity (DIY).
Do not use the grinder to grind materials containing magnesium,
asbestos or surfaces covered with gypsum.
CHARGER AND BATTERY SAFETY RULES
PROPER HANDLING AND OPERATION OF BATTERIES
• The process of charging the battery should be under the control of
the user.
• Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 0°C.
• Charge batteries only with the charger recommended by
the manufacturer. Using a charger designed to charge other
types of batteries poses a risk of fire.
• When the battery is not in use, keep it away from metal
objects such as paper clips, coins, keys nails, screws, or
other small metal items that can short-circuit the
b a t t e r y
t e r m i n a l s . Short-circuiting the battery
terminals can cause burns or fire.
If the battery is damaged and/or misused, gases may be
released. Ventilate the room, and consult a doctor in case of
discomfort. The gases may damage the respiratory tract.
• Fluid leakage from the battery may occur in extreme conditions.
Liquid leaking from the battery may cause irritation or burns. If a
leak is found, proceed as fol l o ws:
• Carefully wipe off the liquid with a piece of cloth. Avoid contact of the
liquid with the skin or eyes.
• if the liquid comes into contact with the skin, the relevant area on the body
should be washed immediately with a generous amount of clean water, or
neutralize the liquid with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar.
• If the liquid gets into the eyes, immediately flush them with plenty of
clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical advice.
• Do not use a battery that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may act unpredictably, leading to fire, explosion or
danger of injury.
The battery must not be exposed to moisture or water.
• Always keep the battery away from a heat source. Do not leave it
in a high-temperature environment for an extended period of
time (in direct sunlight, near radiators, or anywhere where the
temperature exceeds 50°C).
• Do not expose the battery to fire or excessive heat.
Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130°C may cause an
explosion.
NOTE: A temperature of 130°C can be specified as 265°F.
Follow all charging instructions, do not charge the battery at a
temperature outside the range specified in the rating data table
in the manual. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified
range may damage the battery and increase the danger of fire.
BATTERY REPAIR:
• Do not repair damaged batteries. Repair of the battery is allowed
only by the manufacturer or at an authorized service center.
• The used battery should be delivered to a facility for the
disposal of this type of hazardous waste.
SAFETY TIPS FOR THE CHARGER
• The charger must not be exposed to moisture or water.
Getting water into the charger increases the risk of shock. The
charger may only be used indoors in dry areas.
• Unplug the charger from the mains before performing any
maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not use the charger placed on a flammable surface (such
as paper, textiles) or in the vicinity of flammable
substances. Due to the temperature increase of the charger
during the charging process, there is a danger of fire.
• Each time before use, check the condition of the charger,
cable and plug. If damage is found - do not use the charger.
Do not attempt to disassemble the charger. All repairs must
be entrusted to an authorized service workshop. Improper
installation of the charger risks electric shock or fire.
• Children and physically, emotionally or mentally handicapped
persons and other persons whose experience or knowledge is
insufficient to operate the charger with all safety precautions
should not operate the charger without the supervision of a
responsible person. Otherwise, there is a danger that the device will be
mishandled, resulting in injury.
When the charger is not in use, unplug it from t h e
mains.
Follow all charging instructions, do not charge the battery at a
temperature outside the range specified in the rating data table
in the m a n u a l . Charging improperly or at temperatures
outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the
danger of fire.
LOADER REPAIR
• Do not repair a damaged c h a r g e r . Repair of the charger is
allowed only by the manufacturer or at an authorized service center.
NOTE: The device is used for indoor operation.
Despite the use of safe design by design, the use of safety
measures and additional protective measures, there is
always a risk of residual injury during operation.
Li-Ion batteries can leak, catch fire or explode if they are
heated to high temperatures or short-circuited. Do not
store them in the car during hot and sunny days. Do not
open the battery pack. Li-Ion batteries contain electronic
safety devices that, if damaged, can cause the battery to
catch f i r e or explode.
