4 Product description
The air conditioning system is available in three
versions:
Aventa compact 2.G

All versions are available in two colours (black, white).
The Truma Aventa air conditioning system is designed
for installation on the vehicle roof.
4.1 Air distributor

4.3 Design
The air conditioning system consists of the external
unit, air distributor and a remote control.
4.3.1 External unit
The external unit (Fig. 1-1) of the air conditioning
system is mounted on the roof (Fig. 1-2) of the vehicle.
4.3.2 Air distributor
The air distributor (Fig. 1-3) of the air conditioning
system is attached to the ceiling (Fig. 1-2) inside the
vehicle.

4.4 Function
Compressor air conditioning systems work like a
refrigerator: a refrigerant circulates in an enclosed
system. The pressure from a compressor liquefies
the gaseous refrigerant in a heat exchanger. In the
evaporator, the heat and moisture is withdrawn from
the room air and directed outdoors.

A fan distributes the cooled and dehumidified
air into the vehicle interior via the air distribution
system. The roof-mounted air conditioning system
provides cool air in the vehicle.
The air conditioning system can also be operated as a
heat pump and heat the vehicle.
4.5 Condensation trap
The condensation is led away via the roof of the vehicle.
For this purpose, there are holes on the underside of the
external unit through which the condensate drains.
 Puddles of water may form under or next to the
vehicle if the air conditioning system is operated for
long periods.

4.6 Product labelling
The appliance type and the serial number are printed on
the type plate.
4.6.1 Climate control system type plate
On the bottom of the air conditioning system, near the
air distributor, there is a type plate containing the details
of the air conditioning system (Fig. 3-1).

Two additional type plates (duplicates) are supplied

with the air conditioning system. These type plates are
affixed by the vehicle manufacturer on the back of the
operating instructions and in an easily accessible place
in the vehicle.
4.6.2 Air distributor type plate
The air distributor has a type plate on the inside of the
appliance, which is visible only after disassembly.
