1 About these instructions
These instructions are intended for:

1.1 Target group
These instructions are intended for users.
For the sake of simplicity, in the following, no

distinction is made between genders. Gender
equality is intended in the way terms are used.

2 Intended use
2.1 Proper use
The Aventa compact (plus) 2.G / Aventa comfort 2.G
roof-mounted air conditioning system is approved
only for installation on the roof of a motor home
(motor caravan) of vehicle class M1 and motor trailers
(caravans) of vehicle class O with legally prescribed
safety ventilation in accordance with EN 721.
It is intended exclusively for use in the private sector
and for air conditioning of the living area.
If possible, operate the air conditioning system with the
windows and doors closed.
2.2 Improper use
Any use other than the intended use is prohibited.
This applies, for example, to installation and operation
in:
Boats and other water craft,
•
Hunting/forest cabins, weekend houses or awnings
•
Mobile homes, construction trailers
•
Flats and houses
•
Construction machinery, agricultural machinery
•
Food trucks
•
Do not operate the air conditioning system at altitudes
above 2,000 m or outside the specified operating
temperature (see "14 Technical data" on page 35).
Faulty air conditioning systems must not be used. Air
conditioning systems that are installed or used contrary
to the operating and installation instructions may not be
used.
2.3 Installation, dismantling,
repositioning
Only competent, trained personnel (experts) may
install and repair the Truma product and carry out the
function check with consideration of the installation and
operating instructions and the current recognised rules
of engineering. Experts are persons who, based on their
professional training, their knowledge of and experience
with Truma products and the relevant standards,
are able to carry out the required work properly and
recognise potential hazards.
The following applies to non-experts:
Do not open the air conditioning system.

Do not install the air conditioning system, do not

install it in other locations and do not install it in
other vehicles.
Do not dismantle the air conditioning system or

attempt to repair it yourself.
Have the system installed, dismantled or

repositioned only by an expert.
