What to do
Check that the endodontic instrument has the size of the root
canal.
Check that the file clamp is clean and appears golden.
Check that the patient cable is not damaged.
Check that in case of measurement during motor treatment, the
contra-angle handpiece is not damaged; try to check the functiona-
lity of apex locator stand-alone by use of use of file clamps.
Disconnect the contra-angle and try the rotation of the motor.
If it turns, lubricate the Contra-angle and try again.
Check that the charger is connected and there is power.
Check that the handpiece cable is not damaged.
Connect the charger to the mains and to the main unit.
Wait 10 minutes and try again.
Connect the handpiece cable to the handpiece and the main unit.
Wait 10 minutes and try again.
Disconnect the contra-angle and try the calibration. If it works,
lubricate the Contra-angle and try again.
Turn off the main unit via the power button without charger con-
nected, then let the handpiece to switch off, and then turn them
both on again.
