The file in use appears both indicatively as an
image:
Torque and speed settings appear in the icon
to the side:
The values can be changed via the icon (see set-
tings):
By pressing the on/off button on the handpiece,
the motor rotates with the settings of reciproca-
ting motion or continuous rotation, and with the
torque and speed values shown on the display.
The LED lights up blue when the motor rotates.
Through the settings (see section 4.6 Settings
menu), two operating modes can be selected for
continuous rotation and two for reciprocating
function.
In general, the motor can be stopped by pressing
on the file icon in use, in case the button on the
handpiece does not respond.
Continuous Rotation
• Autostop: The motor rotates until it stops at
the set torque, then pressing again the on/
off button rotates in the opposite direction
to disengage the file until the file no longer
encounters resistance; then, it rotates for-
ward again. A beep sounds when 70% of the
set torque threshold is reached, and the LED
on the handpiece flashes.
• Autoreverse: The motor rotates until the set
torque is reached, then automatically
reverses the direction of rotation to disen-
gage the file until the file no longer encoun-
ters resistance; then, it rotates forward
again. A beep sounds when 70% of the set
torque threshold is reached, and the LED on
the handpiece flashes.
Reciprocating Rotation
• Reciproc stop: the motor performs recipro-
cating motion and stops when the torque
reaches about 6 Ncm. An acoustic signal
is emitted when 70% of the set torque
threshold is reached, and the LED on the
handpiece changes color.
• Reciproc reverse: the motor performs reci-
procating motion and when it reaches the
set torque it automatically switches to con-
tinuous rotation to disengage the file. Pres-
sing the on/off button again returns to reci-
procating motion. An acoustic signal is
emitted when 70% of the set torque thres-
hold is reached and the LED on the handpi-
ece changes color.
