4 Installation and assembly
Embed the system
To embed the system, follow the instructions below for your installation situation.
Installation situation A – Dry soil
Pour a layer of backfill material approximately 20 cm high around the system and level it evenly. Care-
fully compact the bedding layer.
Rounded gravel does not need to be compacted.
Make sure that the cavities at the bottom / under the system are completely filled.
Installation situation B – Damp soil
Connect a Ø 10 mm structural steel rod to the

reinforcement anchors in the base slab on
both sides of the system so that the outward-
pointing ends of the system's feet are secured.
2. Pour a 10 cm layer of concrete around the sys-
tem so that the round steel rods are com-
pletely embedded.
Make sure that cavities at the bottom / un-
der the system are completely filled.
3. Allow the concrete to harden and remove the
formwork.
Step 6:
Connect the system and backfill the sides
Use the specified backfill material to backfill the pit:

Connect the discharge pipe leading to the reintroduction point to the bottom branch fitting on the

ventilation set.
2. Carefully install backfill material under and around the discharge pipe.
Backfill the system
Continue to fill the primary sedimentation tank with clear water.

During backfilling, the water equalises the internal and external pressures acting on the primary
sedimentation tank.
2. While the primary sedimentation tank is filling, backfill the system in layers with backfill material, each
layer 30 cm deep, to just below the connection openings for the wastewater inlet and ventilation.
Carefully compact each layer.
The fill level in the primary sedimentation tank should always be at approximately the same level
as the backfill. Regulate the flow of water if necessary.
3. When the water level is just below the inlet opening, stop the water flow and remove the hose.
