over the excavation pit and turn it into the desired installation position.
2. Slowly lower the system into the pit and place it on the bedding layer or base slab.
3. Remove, cut up and dispose of the lifting slings.
Disposable lifting slings are designed only for transportation to the destination and must not be
reused.
CAUTION FOR SYSTEMS WITH A PUMP
The pump shaft is attached to the treatment centre only with disposa-
ble straps.
Do not cut or remove the straps under any circumstances.
4. Undo the screws on the shaft covers on the primary sedimentation tank and treatment unit.
5. Remove the shaft covers and set aside.
6. Place a spirit level alternately lengthwise and crosswise on the shaft openings and level the system in
all directions.
7. Fill the primary sedimentation tank to a height of 20 cm with clear water using a hose through the
shaft opening. Stop the water flow when a water level of 20 cm is reached.
This ballast water keeps the system in a stable installation position.
