The wind/rainfall measurements are incorrect
• When comparing wind/rainfall measurements with other weather stations or online data, note that local conditions
can cause significant variations.
Houses, trees and other objects can result in different wind speed/wind direction/rainfall readings.
• Check whether there are any leaves blocking the rain gauge.
• Check that the outdoor sensor is mounted correctly. The compass markings are located on the top of the sensor.
• Check whether the outdoor sensor has moved (e.g. during a storm). If so, return the sensor to its original position.

14. Control commands via SMS from the smartphone

You can use your smartphone and send commands via SMS to the SIM card installed in the weather station. Simply
send one of the commands shown below by SMS from your smartphone to the SIM card telephone number of the
weather station to get the right answer. You can also activate or deactivate the "alarm" function via SMS.
The SMS commands to control the weather station must be written in English and in the correct way (Case
sensitive with spaces etc.). Otherwise, you will not receive the desired response or receive only error mes-
sages. The feedback messages from the SMS commands are also given in English.
The SIM card inside the weather station and your smartphone must be able to send SMS's. Depending on
the contract of the SIM cards of your smartphone and weather station, costs may be incurred.
List of possible commands

a) Activate alarm

For activating or deactivating an alarm, at least one alarm value must be programmed. Please refer to the
information in chapter "10. j) Alarm".
Send an SMS from your smartphone with the command: Alarm On
Reply from the weather station:
• Parameter is set successfully!
• Parameter setting failure!
