3. Intended use

This weather station features built-in sensors that measure weather data and upload it to the Internet.
Measurements from the outdoor sensor are transmitted to the base station via a cable. The base station uploads the
measurements to www.wunderground.com using a mobile data-enabled SIM card. You can view measurements from
across the world using a smartphone, computer or tablet.
The base station is powered by a rechargeable battery (included with the product) that charges via a solar panel. If the
ambient brightness is sufficient, the solar cell powers the base station and charges the battery (rated voltage: 3.6 V). If the
ambient brightness is not sufficient to power the base station, power is provided by the rechargeable battery (e.g. at night).
The outdoor sensor (measures wind direction, wind speed, outdoor temperature/humidity, brightness, UV index and
precipitation) is powered by conventional AA batteries.
Always observe the safety instructions and any other information in these operating instructions.
Any use other than that described above is not permitted and may damage the product. In addition, improper use may
cause a fire, short circuit or other hazards.
