• The two plastic clips (E) should click into place in the two holes (F) on the metal tube.
• Slide the plastic ring (A) back onto the metal tube as far as the outdoor sensor and turn it clockwise to fix it in place.
Step 3:
• Open the battery compartment on the outdoor sensor (loosen the screw on the battery compartment, and then
remove the lid).
• Insert three AA batteries (observe the plus/+ and minus/- markings).
The outdoor sensor can only be operated with disposable 1.5 V batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not suitable
due to their lower voltage (1.2V) and tendency to lose charge in cold temperatures. High-quality alkaline batteries
will last for approximately one year.
• After you have inserted the batteries, the red LED indicator (12) on the bottom of the sensor will turn on for a few
seconds. It will then flash every 16 seconds to indicate that measurements are being sent to the base station. Press
the reset button (13) to reset the outdoor sensor.
• Replace the battery compartment lid and screw it in place.
