e) Mounting the base station and solar panel

Do not mount the base station until you have finished mounting the outdoor sensor and configuring the software and
you have checked that the weather station is uploading measurements to Wunderground.
The base station is protected against moisture, but it should be placed in a sheltered location where it is not exposed
to rainfall. The rubber seals for the USB port and SD card slot should face downwards. The base station should be
mounted in an easily accessible location to ensure that you can reconfigure it at a later date (e.g. with a laptop).
The solar panel is 100 % waterproof and must face exactly south at an inclination of 25 – 35°. Ensure that there are
no trees, houses, or other objects that may block sunlight.

f) SMS notifications

The measurements from the outdoor sensor are transmitted to the base station and sent via SMS to your smartphone
at your chosen interval. Measurements are split into two SMS messages.
