2. 6. 1 Operationsumfeld: Vermeiden von
Explosionen/Zündung
Beim bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch des
HF-Geräts entstehen Funken!
e Das HF-Gerät nicht im explosionsgefährdeten
Bereich verwenden.
e Keine brennbaren oder explosiven Flüssigkeiten
verwenden.
e Das HF-Gerät bei Ausfall des Displays nicht
mehr verwenden!
e Bei Operationen (z. B. im Bereich von Kopf
und Thorax) zündfähige Anästhetika und
verbrennungsfördernde Gase (z. B. Lachgas,
Sauerstoff) vermeiden oder diese absaugen.
e Ausschließlich nicht brennbare Reinigungs-,
Desinfektions- und Lösungsmittel (für Kleber)
verwenden. Wenn es sich nicht vermeiden
lässt, brennbare Reinigungs-, Desinfektions-
und Lösungsmittel zu verwenden: Sicherstellen,
dass diese Stoffe vor dem Einsatz der
HF-Chirurgie verdunstet sind.
e Sicherstellen, dass sich keine brennbaren
Flüssigkeiten unter dem Patienten oder
in Körperhöhlen (z. B. Vagina) sammeln.
Körperhöhlen vor der Aktivierung des Geräts
spülen oder absaugen.
e Alle Flüssigkeiten vor dem Einsetzen des
HF-Gerätes abwischen.
e Sicherstellen, dass keine endogenen Gase
vorhanden sind, die sich entzünden können.
e Sicherstellen, dass mit Sauerstoff getränkte
brennbare Materialien (z. B. Watte, Mull) so weit
vom HF-Umfeld entfernt sind, dass sie sich
nicht entzünden können.

2. 6. 1 Operation area: Avoiding ignition
and explosions
Sparks are generated when the HF device is used
as intended!
e Do not use the HF device in areas where there
is a risk of explosion.
e Do not use any flammable or explosive liquids.
e If the display fails, do not use the HF device any
longer!
e During operations (e.g. in the head or thoracic
regions), avoid using ignitable anesthetics and
gases that support combustion (e.g. nitrous
oxide or oxygen) or extract them using a
vacuum system.
e Use exclusively non-flammable cleaning agents,
disinfectants and solvents (for adhesives). If you
cannot avoid the use of flammable cleaning
agents, disinfectants or solvents, ensure that
they have fully evaporated before using HF
surgical equipment.
e Ensure that no flammable liquids collect
beneath the patient or in body cavities (e.g. the
vagina). Suction or flush body cavities before
activating the device.
e Wipe off all liquids before using the HF device.
e Ensure that no ignitable endogenous gases are
present.
e Ensure that all flammable materials saturated
with oxygen (e.g. cotton or gauze) are kept far
enough away from the HF environment that
they cannot ignite.

2. 6. 1 Campo operatorio: evitar
explosiones/inflamación
Durante el uso previsto del aparato de AF se
producen chispas.
e No utilice el aparato de AF en zonas expuestas
a posibles explosiones.
e No utilice líquidos inflamables o explosivos.
e No utilice el aparato de AF en caso de fallo del
display.
e Al efectuar una operación (p. ej., en zonas de
la cabeza y el tórax), evite utilizar anestésicos
inflamables y gases comburentes (p. ej., gas
hilarante, oxígeno) o aspírelos.
e Utilice únicamente productos de limpieza,
desinfectantes y disolventes (para adhesivos)
que no sean inflamables. Si resulta imposible
evitarlo, utilice productos de limpieza,
desinfectantes y disolventes inflamables:
cerciórese de que esas sustancias se hayan
evaporado antes de aplicar la cirugía de AF.
e Cerciórese de que no se acumule ningún
líquido inflamable debajo del paciente o en
las cavidades corporales (p. ej., la vagina).
Enjuague o succione las cavidades corporales
antes de activar el aparato.
e Elimine todos los líquidos pasando un paño
antes de emplear el aparato de AF.
e Asegúrese de que no haya gases endógenos
que puedan inflamarse.
e Cerciórese de que los materiales combustibles
impregnados con oxígeno (p. ej., algodón,
gasas) estén tan alejados del entorno de AF
que no puedan inflamarse.
